Mr. Cheeky Monkey UT Sweater

I made another sweater for Mr. Cheeky Monkey! The recipient, little baby Ethan Tanner, was born a healthy 6 lb.11 oz. Mom told me that dad was a HUGE University of Texas fan, so I made Mr. Cheeky monkey a sweater sporting the UT colors and next season I imagine baby Ethan will be wearing one!

Toy Monkey Sweater

Btw, the yarn I bought from Elann.com was returned because the color just did not look flattering for my skin tone. I’m bummed…..so now I don’t have the time to make what I had planned for the upcoming special event. Today, however, I finished both pieces of the shrug I’m making for my daughter to go with the V.Secret knock-off dress. Now I plan to connect the pieces and work on a lace edging. It looks great and I can’t wait to see it completed.

The sweater came out very cute, just like I’d envisioned it. I can’t wait to see how the shrug comes out!

Oh what a let down! Sorry the yarn wasn’t right for you. Atleast you get to make something pretty for your daughter. The shrug will be amazing!

Love the little sweater by the way. 🙂

You make the most adorable baby things. So cute for the UT Sweater. That shrug looks beautiful. I love quick crochet (well, once you work out the pattern, LOL).
