New Projects…..

I’m on to my next projects, and both are crocheted. This weekend I began an order for two pairs of heirloom booties. Instead of using one color, I’m making the bottoms white and the cuffs pink. The crochet hook is size 7 and this cotton is size 10. I hope to finish these by tonight – – wish me luck – – they have to be off into the mail asap.

Yesterday I received my order from Elann.com! It is a boat load of ‘Lustrado’ cotton yarn from Brazil. It is fingering weight (knitting needles size 3) and the color is nougat (#7530.) I’m hoping to make a top in the next 4 weeks for a very special event. I’m not even sure I’ll have it done in time, but I’ll give it my best shot. Details to come……

The booties look cute so far. 🙂
Whoa that’s a lot of yarn for a top! Good luck finishing it in time.

I hope you finished the booties, and can’t wait to see what you make from that lovely yarn. I love Elann.

I've been knitting & crocheting many years, and it is great to see the rise in popularity. Basically, the loves of my life include: knitting, crocheting, being with my family and giving thanks to God for how He's blessed my life, but not necessarily in that order!
